Danny recently sent us this awesome photo of him in Iraq. Just wanted to pay tribute to our brave little brother who is so far away from us right now. We miss you Danny!!!

Hesperia 1st Ward Reunion

Thorey and I recently drove up to Hesperia for the very first "Hesperia 1st Ward's Reunion". They said this reunion was inspired by my mom's recent funeral. They wanted an excuse to get all of us together without it being a funeral, and it was a lot of fun. Thorey has the few pictures that we took, but we were instructed to find old pictures of our families to provide for a picture show that they will be posting on the internet soon. Anyway, I found this old picture of my mom and dad, and thought it was pretty funny, and super cute : )

Halloween Costumes

Okay, we've got Penny with Brians Halloween mask on.... Penny with mommy's Costume on.... and Penny as Tinkerbell. Which one looks best? And then we have Luke as a Dinosaur. I was having a very difficult time getting him to hold still so I could take a picture. What a little bugger! They had a great time Trick-or-Treating with Grandma & Papa this year. Timmy and I got to stay in and pass out candy to the other Trick-or-Treaters, which I love to do!

How he proposed...

Okay, I warned you this was boring, but get ready to start snoring. Well, after dating for a whole 3 months.... One night we were cuddling in Thorey's room (I don't know, she was out of town, and she had a bigger bed - What? ) and we were talking about how much we liked each other (how cute). I told him that I hoped he knew that if he ever got sick of me that he'd have to be the one to break it off, because I would never break up with him. He said that he'd never break up with me either. Then he said, "We should get married". And I said "Okay". And we were engaged. Exciting, huh? We were dead serious, and were married 3 months later.

Orgil's Crazy Party!!!

Whoo Hoo! We partied our elderly booties off at the Orgill's annual Halloween party. We dressed up as a couple of old farts. I'm not sure how well we really pulled it off, but we were a hit for sure. We were told that we were the best dancers, but didn't win the costume contest. We stayed pretty late (for us) doing the limbo, and goofing off. Despite the fact that I had sat in a chair that had a huge puddle of water in it, and was freezing cold from being wet, we had a really good time.

Michaela & Logan came to Visit!

Becky and Greg came over with the kids on Friday while on their way to Disneyland! We all had some much fun watching the kids attacking each other on the trampoline. They had the day off of school due to the fires and all the smoke that had settled in the area. Lucky! Doesn't Michaela look just like me? Man, it trips me out. We were gonna go to Disneyland with them for a while, but decided we better not, or we wouldn't have time for the Halloween party that night. Check out my next posting!

Day at the Park with Belen and Thyssen

Even with all the smoke in the air, we managed to have a fun (yet, very hot) October day at the park. Okay, so the kids had fun, while me and Katie sweated our butts off chasing them around for all of maybe an hour. For some reason it felt like we ran a marathon that day. I hope it was the smoke in the air and not age! Okay, how cute is this picture of Thyssen?! Belen continues to be Penny's very best friend. They play so cute and sweet together. I must say Luke is quite fond of Thyssen too. He's always trying to eat him, and/or sit on him. It's pretty cute. We ended up spending the rest of the day in the air conditioned house where the girls (and Luke) played outside and Katie and myself lazily watched TLC and relaxed and the couch. Not a bad day.

Pumpkin Patch

We took the kids to the Pumpkin patch last night. It was really fun. They each got to pick out a pumpkin to take home, and they jumped in the bounce houses, rode the rides, and fed the goats and chickens.

Dead Whale at the Jetty's

Timmy took Penny down to the beach to check out a dead whale tonight. It was pretty sick from all the pictures I saw. It was basically just a bunch of mush with bones sticking out. They came home smelling really really bad. But they got lots of super cute pictures for me to post on the blog! I wasn't gonna include a picture of the nasty dead whale, but Timmy insisted, so check it out. It's the upper right picture. Yuck.

What a ham

Luke has recently started walking. Needless to say, we all mess with him a lot. In this picture he's wearing an old hat of Penny's. Penny also likes to dress him up in her dress-up clothes and he likes wearing jewelry. Hopefully a phase that he'll grow out of. Penny also likes to push him over as he walks by. She's a great older sister ; )

My First Post

This is so exciting! Katie is sitting right here making me create this blog. I have no idea what kinds of things I'm going to put on this. I guess it'll just be tons of pictures of the kids. So.... Today is October 16th, my wonderful mother-in-laws Birthday! Penny wakes up every morning and askes if it's Halloween yet. She's very anxious to go Trick-or-treating.
