Thanksgiving Weekend and our New Camera!!!

We got a new camera this last weekend! So now I can post more frequently. We spent Last week in Indio of all places, with Timmy's family, Aunt, Uncle, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, etc... it was super fun. The Stephens (Timmy's Aunt and Uncle's Family) have a worldmark timeshare thing, and they got us three condo's out in Indio for Thanksgiving week. The place had 3 pools, tons of cool stuff for the kids to do, and a lazy river. That was Penny and Lukes Favorite. Then on Thanksgiving day, we drove from Indio to Oak Hills to have dinner with my sisters family. We had tons of fun there too. I love spending time with Becky and her family. Her kids are 10 and 7 though, and they don't "play" anymore. They are so mature, and it trips me out. Anyway, We didn't have the camera yet when we went to Becky's, so I don't have any pictures of that. How sad.

Here's Luke taking Penny for a ride in their jeep. Luke thinks it's HIS, so he refuses to let Penny drive. She's lucky she even gets to sit in it to take a ride.

Angels Game

Timmy took Penny to the Angels game the other night. Just the 2 of them. How cute is that? I got to stay home and cuddle with Luke.

Doing Chores

It's not too early to start teaching about chores, right?

Our First Family Camping Trip

Penny and Daddy (they hogged that paddle board most of the day!)

That's why Penny is so freaking tan!

They were watching the fire works, so patriotic

This picture is proof that we camped in a tent

Well, we just had our first family camping trip over the 4th of July. We camped at Lake Gregory at a little camp ground called "Camp Switzerland". It was AWESOME! So beautiful, clean, and quiet. We were invited to go with our friends the Orgills. All of our kids had a blast. We spent one entire day at Lake Gregory, playing in the warm lake, and taking the kids out on paddle boards.

Strawberry Fields

The kids and I went on a field trip to Tanaka Farms last week and got to pick our own strawberrys to take home. MMMM! We also got to eat as much as we wanted while we picked. So I ate a LOT, and it was yummy. We also got to sample the yummy onions, lettuce, carrots, and peas. That was the most vegitables i've ever eaten it one day, for sure!

Day at the Beach

Okay, I know it's been a while, so I better try and catch up. Here's some pictures from when we went to the beach about a MONTH ago! It was a really hot day, and we stayed and played for 5 hours. It was really fun.

Mullet Man

Timmy's been bugging me to cut his hair forever, and we finally got around to it last night. Here's Timmy's before picture

Nice picture, huh? Then, we couldn't decide on a haircut, so we thought about going with the old "A" Frame, or Mullet as some people call it...

I told him he'd be a perfect addition to The Scorpions....

As much as he wanted to keep his hair in a mullet, I told him he wouldn't be getting any more children (yeah right) as long as he looked like this. So we finally ended up with...

Sorry, once again, Timmy doesn't have a shirt on. Get used to it! This is who he is!

It was sooooo hot today

Man, it was hot today. Here in beautiful Westminster, it was 95 freaking degrees! So weird since last week it was in the 60's (which I consider cold). So thank goodness we have our 3 foot wide pool to keep cool in. Here's Luke checking out the temperature. After Luke went down for his nap, Penny and myself spent a good hour or so lounging in our own pretend paradise in the backyard.

Daddy, please build us one of these....

Why am I still awake!!!!!

I suffer from HORRIBLE "restless leg syndrom", which makes it so I can't go to sleep, no matter how tired I am. It really really sucks. I just lay in bed with my legs just bugging the crap out of me until I finally realize that there's no way I'm gonna fall asleep without the help of some drugs. At this point I get up in the middle of the night (like right now) and play on the computer for about an hour or so, until my Motrin kicks in, and I feel like I might be able to sleep. So, I've been up for awhile, eating all the marshmallows from an entire box of Lucky Charms. Oh yeah, that's gonna help me sleep! Anyway, just thought I post some more pics from this week. Here's some of Timmy teaching Luke to skate. It's never too early, right?

Flying Babies

Here's some pictures from last night as Timmy repeatedly tossed our children onto the bed. I was having fun trying to get a picture while they were in mid-air. The kids LOVE this kind of rough play. Penny's favorite thing is when Daddy "Fights" with her. She's so funny. Luke loves it too, but he likes to do anything Penny does, which drives Penny nuts. He tries to copy everything she says and does. It's so cute. Then she gets mad at him for copying her, and she screams at him, and so he hits her, and she hits him back, and then he tackles her and she starts crying. Pretty much happens just like that every time. All I can do is try to save Penny before Luke beats her up too bad. Seems like she'd learn her lesson by now, and stop yelling at him. I guess kids just aren't that smart. She'll figure it out eventually...

When I downloaded this new Layout (which I don't love) I accidentally deleted everybody elses blog addresses! Thorey, I need yours, and I need Katie's. The rest I can probably get from there.

Here's Luke after feeding himself at the big table. He purposly makes a big mess.... what a punk! But it's really hard to get upset with someone who's this cute. Don't you agree?

A Day at Disneyland

Katie invited us to join her for a few hours of fun at Disneyland last week. We didn't last long, but here's Penny with her friends Belen and Regan. Penny is the one being a Ham.

Timmy's Kids

Here's a classic example of an evening in the Steadman household. It typically turns into a wrestling match around 7:30pm. This is actually pretty mild.

"Friday Drama" my butt

Okay Timmy, you got me again. That entire story was some stupid concoction that Timmy pulled out of his butt. And everybody felt so sorry for me too. It WAS extremely detailed and long, but completely fake. Sorry everyone. But you should've known, my grammer isn't quite THAT bad!!

friday drama

wow, yesterday was a stressful day. penny is sick, luke is sick and i feel like im getting sick. Deja-vu! i woke up in the morning with luke around 4am. the little guys molers are coming in and hes in alot of pain. i feel so bad for him, they broke through later in the day so he seems like he is doing better. then as i was taking penny to school i was stopped at a red light and an old asian woman hit me from behind! arghh. I think im a manget for people hitting me, i swear! ive been hit 4 times in the past 1.5 years. luckily there was no damage. so off to the grocery store i went. shopping for food is so fun, luke loves riding in the cart, and usually in the morning there arent alot of people in the store, so, in a way, its quite peaceful. that is, except for today. luke is such a good boy whaen we go shopping but for some reason he was acting crazy. he kept wanting to get out of the cart, so id get him out of the cart, and let him walk. hed walk for 30 sceonds and then want to get in the cart again. so i'd put him back in the cart, and 30 seconds would pass and hed want to walk again. so finaly i just picked him up put him on the store floor and walked away so he would follow me. it was working until he decided to pull some jars of spaghetti sauce off of a display the grocery had set up. DISASTER! really, how much damage can a 1.5 yr old cause? it was about a 3foot tall display, luke pulled out the "sweet spot" one which caused a chain reaction for the rest to fall. broken glass and spaghetti sauce everywhere! i thought luke was cut because he was stained with the sauce. (no cuts, phew!) It gets worse- the display was in the corner, sort of a blind spot for people turning the corner of the isle. as luck would have it an older lady was walking with her cart and was oblivious to the bomb that had just gone off. well she slipped, and fell, and begun screaming in pain. employees rushed to her side to help her and see what was wrong. when she fell she put her hands on the floor to break her fall, but the only thing broken was her wrist. the most disgusting thing ive ever seen, her bone came out of her skin, and on her other hand a piece of glass hand sliced up her palm pretty good. at this point im feeling soooo bad, and of course luke is right by my side covered in spaghetti sauce from the knees down. i couldnt have looked more guilty. it was only a matter of minutes before the ambulance showed up, followed by the old ladys degenerate son. the son smelled of alcohol and cigeretts, he only came in the store because he saw the ambulance and put 2 and 2 together. (apparently he drives his mom places). he is shouting and cursing and then looks at me and says "is this the little shit that did this"? pointing to luke. ahh i was so pissed i put luke in the cart and started yelling at him saying not very nice words, the store employees had to interfere and calm everyone down, i was so mad! so he says "yea whatever, we'll see you in court". so off i again i went using very un-christlike words. luke meanwhile happy as a clam. lucky for me it was raining so i knew timmy was home, so i called him up and told him what happened and asked him to come down and bring some clothes for luke and take him away. about 2-3 minutes later the police arrived because of all the drama happening in the store, also to calm me and the drunk son down. they were nice and everything was finally calming down. timmy got there a few minutes later to take luke. i give luke to timmy and the drunk son says, "it shoulda been your boy whose all cut up and not some innocent by-stander", without any hesitation timmy handed luke back to me and punched the guy square in the nose. the guy falls to the ground holding his nose, blood pouring out, timmy jumps on top of him and just goes crazy, i was so scared. the police officer and 2 store employees had to restrain timmy, and i swear, timmy is absoulutly mental at this point. the cop puts him on the ground with his arm behind his back, timmys yelling, but finally calm down, puts handcuff on him and takes him out. the paramedics are attending to the man now with the broken nose, and im just freaking out. cant believe what just happened. so here it is sat morning and at 9.am i get to go get my timmy out of the orange county jail. this is going to be a fun weekend

Daddy's Home!!!!

Phew! Timmy just came home this morning after leaving me alone for 9 days, while he surfed in Ecuador. Needless to say, I'm ecstatic that he's back. And the kids have been hanging all over him the entire day. It's been adorable! Oh, and Timmy had a really good time surfing too. Here are a few pictures of Timmy with the kids before he left, when he got back and some pics of him while he was in Ecuador. He said that it rained a lot, that it was VERY hot, and that the food was really good. Also, they strangley enough use the US Dollar as their currancy there. Huh.
