Happy Birthday Thorey!!!

It was Thorey's Birthday yesterday, and I didn't even get to see her! So this is my "ode to Thorey", my very best friend. Oh, you're gonna love this...

Daddy's Home!!!!

Phew! Timmy just came home this morning after leaving me alone for 9 days, while he surfed in Ecuador. Needless to say, I'm ecstatic that he's back. And the kids have been hanging all over him the entire day. It's been adorable! Oh, and Timmy had a really good time surfing too. Here are a few pictures of Timmy with the kids before he left, when he got back and some pics of him while he was in Ecuador. He said that it rained a lot, that it was VERY hot, and that the food was really good. Also, they strangley enough use the US Dollar as their currancy there. Huh.

Mexican Riviera

Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted! Well we finally did something worthy of writing about, so I decided to get to work. We just got home from an 8 day cruise to the Mexican Riviera with Timmy's mom, dad, sister, brother-in-law, and their 3 kids. There were 11 of us altogether, and it was crazy. We mostly spent day and night a the kids pools watching the kids running around from pool to pool, going down water slides, and sitting in the hot tub. Then we got into Karaoke. That was pretty funny. We ate all the time, because you could. It was anything but relaxing. While we were at our second port, Puerta Villarta, there was a little incident which nearly killed Penny! The Mexicans were para sailing right off the beach (instead of from a boat), and the rope from the para sail came down from the sky right in front of Penny and her Cousin Morgan. Then, the rope suddenly started going back up (the wind had caught the para sail and it lifted into the air). As the rope started going back up, it scratched right across Penny and Morgan, catching Penny right under the chin (across her neck!), and pulled her backwards into the surf, holding her underwater! Luckily Timmy saw the whole thing, and was able to get her out in time. Penny was super rattled, and covered in sand. She had a terrible rope burn across her neck which progressively got worse looking as the days went on, forming a scab. Poor Penny. Anyway, we finally got her mind off it with some horse riding, which she thoroughly loved. Besides that, the rest of the trip was muy bien.

Danny recently sent us this awesome photo of him in Iraq. Just wanted to pay tribute to our brave little brother who is so far away from us right now. We miss you Danny!!!

Hesperia 1st Ward Reunion

Thorey and I recently drove up to Hesperia for the very first "Hesperia 1st Ward's Reunion". They said this reunion was inspired by my mom's recent funeral. They wanted an excuse to get all of us together without it being a funeral, and it was a lot of fun. Thorey has the few pictures that we took, but we were instructed to find old pictures of our families to provide for a picture show that they will be posting on the internet soon. Anyway, I found this old picture of my mom and dad, and thought it was pretty funny, and super cute : )

Halloween Costumes

Okay, we've got Penny with Brians Halloween mask on.... Penny with mommy's Costume on.... and Penny as Tinkerbell. Which one looks best? And then we have Luke as a Dinosaur. I was having a very difficult time getting him to hold still so I could take a picture. What a little bugger! They had a great time Trick-or-Treating with Grandma & Papa this year. Timmy and I got to stay in and pass out candy to the other Trick-or-Treaters, which I love to do!

How he proposed...

Okay, I warned you this was boring, but get ready to start snoring. Well, after dating for a whole 3 months.... One night we were cuddling in Thorey's room (I don't know, she was out of town, and she had a bigger bed - What? ) and we were talking about how much we liked each other (how cute). I told him that I hoped he knew that if he ever got sick of me that he'd have to be the one to break it off, because I would never break up with him. He said that he'd never break up with me either. Then he said, "We should get married". And I said "Okay". And we were engaged. Exciting, huh? We were dead serious, and were married 3 months later.
